NATS Nursery Ltd. - Native Plants

‘Langara College Atrium’ LiveRoof, Green Roof Project, Vancouver, B.C.

A significant push to create greener spaces for primary, secondary, and post-secondary students is underway in Canada. Green roofs have far-reaching benefits for students and faculty as they provide unique learning opportunities, and nurture a relationship to the biophysical world. This recently installed LiveRoof embraces a blooming, native plant meadow that supports bee habitat and other local insects. Heuchera cylindrica, Geum triflorum, Anaphalis margaritacea, Solidago canadensis, to name a few, will boast brilliant tones and a perfect environment to encourage learning.
